Mohammadreza Azimi is the first AMBER ESR to start at Warsaw University of Technology. He will be working under the guidance of Professor Andrzej Pacut on ‘Making mobile biometrics more reliable’. We wish him every success in his studies.
AMBER welcomes Ebenezer Okoh and Ridvan Salih Kuzu who will be working in the Biometric Systems and Multimedia Forensics Lab at University Roma Tre under the guidance of Professor Patrizio Campisi. We wish them every success in their studies.
AMBER welcomes Teodors Eglitis who is the latest ESR to start with the project. He will be working on ‘Continuous and Instantaneous Authentication using Mobile Devices’ and we wish him all the best whilst working on AMBER.
AMBER welcomes three new ESRs: Nicholas Whiskerd and Salatiel Ezennaya will be working at the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg under the guidance of Professor Claus Vielhauer and Barbara Corsetti has started work at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid with Dr Raul Sanchez-Reillo. We wish them all the very best throughout their studies.
The first AMBER Workshop will take place at the Canterbury Innovation Centre on 6th and 7th of November 2017. The workshop will be followed by the European Biometrics Symposium on Mobile Biometrics at Cathedral Lodge in Canterbury.
The EAB Research Projects Conference will take place in Darmstadt on 18th and 19th of September 2017 and Richard Guest will represent the AMBER project with a talk entitled: AMBER – Project introduction.

A big welcome to Elakkiya Ellavarason who started work on AMBER at the University of Kent this week. Her PhD project is entitled Usability Performance Assessment of Mobile Touch-Screen Behavioural Biometrics and we wish her a happy and successful 3 years at Kent.
